A skills portfolio connects selected examples to an understandable account of capability. Its value comes from relevance and explanation, rather than the number of files it contains.
Choose examples for the intended audience. An employer, education provider and professional body may ask different questions, even when they are considering the same experience.
Explain when the work happened, what you did and what the example demonstrates. Where requirements are formal, follow the receiving organisation’s guidance and protect confidential information.
